ANNUAL MEEETING Sunday, July 5th, 2015

All are welcome! If you live on or near Taylorstown Road, you are one of the roughly 3,000 residents of this lovely historic village and its surrounding area. How near is “near”? Don’t worry about it; Taylorstown is a state of mind. Come on out and meet your neighbors. Details and agenda below.

** While votes are counted, learn about High-Speed Internet access in Western Loudoun and participate in a discussion of the question, “What might be possible if we band together locally?” (Consider chairing or joining the TCA High-Speed Committee to pursue this issue going forward.)

with: Taylorstown’s own Tara Linhardt and Friends playing blue grass tunes, old and new. This band enthralls audiences worldwide and returns home to us, year after year, to fill our hearts and ears!
and: Janine Smith calling the dances expertly, just as in years past (squares & contra & circle dances), for those who want to give it a whirl (no experience or skill needed & no pressure to dance!)
bring: Yourself! Optionally – food and non-alcoholic drinks to share, a folding chair, & money for wine if you want to try it from Taylorstown’s own new vineyard.

Taylorstown Community Association Annual Meeting
April 14, 2013
TCA President Lauranne Oliveau called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
Sunday, April 14
4:00 – 7:00 pm
13223 Loyalty Road (near the intersection at Taylorstown Road)
- Potluck refreshments (wine, soda, snacks, paper cups and plates welcome)
- Parking is limited. Please park either at the Taylorstown General Store or at the area near the bridge and walk or ride the shuttle up to the house.
The TCA is soliciting nominations for individuals to serve on the 2013-2014 Board of Directors.
There are eight board positions open: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and five At-Large Members. Our Treasurer, Liz Weber, is currently serving the first year of a two year term.
Please nominate only individuals other than yourself who have agreed to run, and please include the nominee’s phone number. Nominations should be submitted to the Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
Nominees should be prepared to make a statement of up to one minute at the Annual Meeting regarding their interest in serving on the Board.
This year’s dance will be held Sunday, June 24 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the barn at Catoctin Creek Village. More details and a map are at the end.
